CVS will be the national pharmacy chain Pace had intended for the 10,618 square foot corner retail space. The building and the CVS fulfill the desires expressed in the Parkview Gardens and Skinker DeBaliviere neighborhood plans and Loop Area Retail Plan which showed redevelopment of the corner and had the goal of adding a pharmacy in the area. As before there is a second 6,313 sf retail space and two 25,000 sf floors of office above the CVS, the drive thru, and some of the parking. The second floor will have access to a rooftop terrace above the smaller retail space. More open-air parking fills the rest of the site up to Enright.

It’s been two years since the project came to light. The project secured a $4.4M TIF. Pace has ownership of the former gas station property. The gas station closed in February 2018. Washington University still owns the one story building to the north according to city records. No building permits have been applied for. The project is slated for opening in the fourth quarter of 2019.
