Clayton-Hanley Development to Fill Old Schnuck’s Site in Clayton

{looking northwest along Clayton Road at Hanley Road}

A very prominent corner is about to be filled, assuming all goes according to plan. The St. Louis Business Journal is reporting that the old Schnuck’s grocery store site on the northeast corner of Clayton and Hanley will see a 220,000 sq. ft. mixed use development completed by the end of 2010.

It’s reported that the project will include 100,000+ SF of office space, a 50,000 SF fitness center, a seven-story, 200-room hotel, a “high-end” grocery and coffee house. There will be 70 street-level, storefront parking spaces and 775 garage parking spaces.
