AHM Plans Tower Grove East Development

AHM Plans Tower Grove East Development

AHM Group plans a new construction of an 18-unit apartment development on seven vacant lots on the 3000 block of Minnesota north of Arsenal in the Tower Grove East neighborhood. The architect is studioDVLP.

The proposal consists of two two-story buildings fronting Minnesota meant to fit contextually with their surroundings each with six rowhouses. Two are three-bedroom and four are two-bedroom. Six more one-bedroom apartments are behind in a carriage house configuration above parking. There are 26 spaces in total, 18 in the carriage houses, 6 under the three-bedroom units, and 2 open-air. The parking is accessed via a driveway off Crittenden.

The estimated total project cost is $5.5-6.0M. AHM will not seek tax incentives. The plans go before the Preservation Board April 24th. Cultural Resources staff recommend granting preliminary approval.
