Cornerstone Development has applied for a nearly $6.4 million building permit to construct a 77-unit apartment building at 3933 West Pine Boulevard in the Central West End, just west of St. Louis University’s Campus. The contractor listed on the permit is VE Design Group. The City has not yet issued the building permit.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch covered this development earlier this year in an article about the apartment building boom near SLU. That article mentions that Cornerstone will be marketing this building to more than just SLU students. The new building will sit just across the street from the massive, 206-unit, student-oriented West Pine Lofts project, which is progressing quickly.
