Buildings Stabilized with Prop NS Funds up for Bid

Buildings Stabilized with Prop NS Funds up for Bid

Ten properties that were stabilized with Prop NS funds are up for bid. Prop NS (neighborhood stabilization) was passed by voters in 2017. It added a property tax to raise funds that would go to stabilizing LRA-owned buildings to make them more attractive to prospective buyers that would carry through with rehabbing them. As always do your due diligence.

This is the eighth round of properties posted for sale. In the previous 7 rounds, a total of 32 buildings that had been stabilized and posted for sale received offers that were accepted to purchase according to Program Manager Sean Thomas. Of those 32 buyers, 19 have closed on their purchases.
