2013 RFT Best of St. Louis Winner – Best Blog

Well this is fun – thank you to the Riverfront Times for recognition as the 2013 Best Blog in St. Louis! Running nextSTL is a lot of fun, but it’s also a lot of work, and I’m far from being alone in the endeavor. So far in 2013, nextSTL has published pieces from 18 individuals, and nearly 200 separate articles. Along the way, we’ve mentioned a big blue Swedish retailer and looked at how crime stats are used and abused and followed SLU in Midtown,  but we’ve also highlighted the opportunity for high speed rail in Missouri, detailed the world of graffiti in St. Louis, asked tough questions about the South County Connector, kept you informed about development news, provided an in-depth look at the zoo’s 30-year framework plan and highlighted some of the best and coolest things happening in our region. In the end, we’re aiming for a better informed, more engaged community and a new narrative in St. Louis. Thanks for reading along. With any luck, we’re just getting started.
