So it's been nearly two months since the GOOD Ideas for Cities even in St. Louis. The more than 800 people in attendance spoke to the energy and excitement behind finding creative solutions to some of the the region's challenges. For those not able to attend, videos of each presentation are now available. In the meantime, the creative teams have continued to push their visions forward, seeking local partners and funding to make them a reality. Some may fit with existing organizations or efforts. Some may require new thinking and planning. While GOOD is dedicated to making at least one idea happen, it's possible more will be used.
Check out the nextSTL event wrap up, read more about the teams and listen to "GOOD Ideas for St. Louis" from St. Louis Public Radio's St. Louis on the Air with myself, Patrick Brown, Special Assistant to City of St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay and urban leader for the GOOD event, Kevin McCoy, printmaker and business owner and member of the ACTivate the City team, and Maggie Hales, Deputy Executive Director at East West Gateway Council of Governments and urban leader, as guests.)
