The renovation of the Kiel Opera House has cleared a big hurdle and received Aldermanic Committee approval. Next is a vote by the Board of Aldermen. Without discussing the size and nature of the subsidies involved, I’m a bug supporter of re-opening the Kiel. Take a look at what the long shuttered building looks like from the inside:
