Green Street Proposes Tower in Clayton

Green Street Proposes Tower in Clayton

Green Street is proposing a redevelopment with Sterling Bank at their site at the northeast corner of Bemiston and Carondelet in Clayton. The 20-story building would be 270 apartments with balconies above 380 parking spaces and space for Sterling Bank’s branch (4,500 sf) and offices (10,500 sf). There is a pool and amenities on the roof. There is a solar array atop the podium as well. The project estimated cost is $!00M. The architect is HDA Architects, now a part of Green Street and they’ve partnered with Talton to construct it. They hope to break ground next fall and complete it within 18 months. The proposal will require a zoning change. Hat tip to sc4mayor in the urbanstl forum for posting this.

There’s a curb cut on Carondelet
Unfortunately there’s little street activation on Carondelet
