Blackline to Build 12 Apartments in Gravois Park

Blackline to Build 12 Apartments in Gravois Park
From Texas

A $900k building permit application has been submitted for Blackline‘s apartment development in the Gravois Park neighborhood at 3620 Texas a block west of Jefferson. Next door to their rehab of the
Louis Lange Publishing building of 15 apartments, the 12 apartments are configured as six stacks of two one bedroom one bathroom units. The single entrance facing Texas makes for a rowhouse look. There are 9 parking spaces in the rear. The second floor units feature alternating front and rear balconies.

The infill adds to the area without the cost of any new public infrastructure. This is how we afford our CITY. The development received a 95% property tax abatement for 10 years on a 28-0 vote of Board Bill 130.

The units average 750 square feet with rents ranging from $995 to $1095 or about $1.35 per square foot. Each unit has a washer and drier as well as outdoor space. The exterior is white Hardie board with cedar in the outdoor spaces.

Blackline plans to be ready for occupancy this summer.
