The old Grand Livery Stable at 3141 Juniata in the Tower Grove East neighborhood burned to the ground in the middle of the night last summer, but that does not mean the site will remain a vacant lot for the foreseeable future.
Local architects Otke-Doucet have drawn up preliminary plans to replace the now-vacant lot with a three-story, 17-unit residential building with parking in the rear. Real estate consultant Matt Kastner provided the preliminary site plan and elevation drawing with the developer’s permission. These documents are subject to change. Currently, this development is winding its way through the city’s Board of Adjustment for approval from Zoning. The proposed development has already received approval from the Tower Grove East Neighborhood Association.
