Avalon Theater Partially Reconstructed Inside City Museum

The onetime beloved Avalon Theater, located at 4225 S. Kingshighway in the Southampton neighborhood, was demolished without much ceremony in January of this year.

Luckily, the venerable Downtown West institution City Museum has acquired a portion of the building’s art deco facade and has reconstructed it.
