As Trailnet's Community Planning Manager, Dr. Erich Hellmer leads active transportation projects that combine participatory planning approaches and inclusive Complete Streets designs to make streets safer and healthier, and part of a more vibrant public realm for all St. Louisans. Prior to joining Trailnet, Dr. Hellmer spent more than a decade researching and promoting human-centered approaches to public space and mobility planning across the US, Asia, Latin America, and Europe.
